The first challenge was a small budget. We had to get the most out of it and develop a process for building a quality, affordable buggy.
The second was time. The plan allowed three months — we did it in two.
The buggy turned out very fast: it uses a VAZ engine but weighs only 400 kg.
The suspension is excellent and soft on the move: A‑arms with VAZ‑2101 steering knuckles at the front, and a VAZ‑2108 front suspension at the rear. It is very comfortable — not something you would guess from its spartan looks.
It is incredibly stable and capable off‑road: the ground clearance and design let it tackle difficult terrain.
A buggy is a great vehicle for hunters, wildlife watchers and anyone who loves the outdoors.
